Black Friday 2026 camera deals: what's actually cheaper

Updated 2026-10-30 · 2 min read · prices update with every price check

Black Friday is on 27 November 2026, and camera "deals" have already started. Some are real. Many are a price that was the same last month, with a bigger crossed-out number next to it. We record the price of every camera and lens we track at every store, every few hours, so we can tell which is which.

This post updates itself. The lists below are recalculated at every price check, so come back during Black Friday week and they will show that day's deals.

Today's biggest savings against the launch price

The cameras and lenses furthest below their US launch list price at a store we check, in stock, body or lens only (no kits or bundles):

A big percentage on an older camera is normal: prices fall as a camera ages. The interesting deals are on cameras launched in the last year or two.

How to spot a fake Black Friday deal

  • Check the price history. Every camera's page has a chart of its lowest price. If the "deal" price is the same as last month's, it isn't a deal.
  • Compare against the launch price, not the "was" price. A store's "was" price can be anything. The maker's launch price is a fixed reference, and we show it on each product page as the RRP.
  • Watch for kits. A "body + lens" bundle can look cheap until you price the lens on its own. Our headline prices are always body only.
  • Grey imports. A price far below everyone else may be a grey import with no local warranty. Read grey market cameras before you buy one.
  • Maker promotions end. Many US Black Friday prices are maker instant savings with a fixed end date. When camera prices drop explains how they work.
