AF 40mm F2.5 Air overview
The Viltrox AF 40mm F2.5 Air is a 40mm f/2.5 prime for full-frame cameras on Sony E-mount, Nikon Z and L-Mount, announced by Viltrox in April 2024. 79 cameras we track take it without an adapter.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits travel. It is a weaker pick for rain and dust as well as close-ups.
No store we track in Europe lists it today. It is listed in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Worth comparing it with the Sony FE 40mm F2.5 G, Sony Sonnar T* FE 35mm F2.8 ZA and TTArtisan AF 40mm F2.
