907X 50C overview
The Hasselblad 907X 50C is a 50 MP medium-format medium-format camera for Hasselblad XCD, announced by Hasselblad in August 2020. It has been followed by the Hasselblad 907X & CFV 100C; both are still sold.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits low light as well as landscape and detail. It is a weaker pick for slow handheld shots with unstabilised lenses and eye-level shooting in bright sun.
No store we track in the United Kingdom lists it today. It is listed in the United States and Australia.
Worth comparing it with the Fujifilm GFX50S II, Fujifilm GFX100S and Leica M11.

Low light & noise
5.4 µm pixels
50 MP on a medium format sensor, ISO up to 25,600
Bigger pixels gather more light each, so they tend to show less noise at high ISO, but sensor design matters as much. For real noise at ISO 6400, these sites measure it:
- Photons to Photos: dynamic range vs ISO ↗Photographic dynamic range measured at every ISO, bodies on one chart
- Photons to Photos: noise vs ISO ↗Read noise at every ISO from lab tests: lower is cleaner in the shadows
- DPReview studio scene ↗The same scene shot by each camera at the ISO you pick, side by side
- DPReview reviews ↗Full reviews with high-ISO samples
- Low-light video tests ↗Real-world high-ISO footage on YouTube
How it stacks up
- 740 g — lighter than 83% of the medium format medium format cameras we list
