M10-P overview
The Leica M10-P is a 24 MP full-frame rangefinder for Leica M, announced by Leica in August 2018. It has been followed by the Leica M11-P.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits low light. It is a weaker pick for slow handheld shots with unstabilised lenses, all-day shooting on one battery and paid jobs that need a backup card.
No store we track in the United Kingdom lists it today. It is listed in the United States.
Worth comparing it with the Leica M10, Leica M10-R and Leica M11.

Low light & noise
6.0 µm pixels
24 MP on a full frame sensor, ISO up to 50,000
Bigger pixels gather more light each, so they tend to show less noise at high ISO, but sensor design matters as much. For real noise at ISO 6400, these sites measure it:
- Photons to Photos: dynamic range vs ISO ↗Photographic dynamic range measured at every ISO, bodies on one chart
- Photons to Photos: noise vs ISO ↗Read noise at every ISO from lab tests: lower is cleaner in the shadows
- DPReview studio scene ↗The same scene shot by each camera at the ISO you pick, side by side
- DPReview reviews ↗Full reviews with high-ISO samples
- Low-light video tests ↗Real-world high-ISO footage on YouTube
How it stacks up
- 5 fps — faster bursts than 89% of the full frame rangefinder cameras we list
