85mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art overview
The Sigma 85mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art is an 85mm f/1.4 prime for full-frame cameras on Canon EF / EF-S, Nikon F, Sony E-mount and L-Mount, announced by Sigma in September 2016. 104 cameras we track take it without an adapter. It is discontinued, so new stock may be limited.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits portraits and low light. It is a weaker pick for travelling light and close-ups.
New, it sells for $939.95 in the United States (eBay.com); used and refurbished copies start at $579. It launched at $1,199.
Worth comparing it with the Sony FE 85mm F1.4 GM, Zeiss Batis 1.8/85 and Canon EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM.
