150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary overview
The Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary is a 150–600mm f/5–6.3 zoom for full-frame cameras on Canon EF / EF-S and Nikon F, announced by Sigma in September 2014. 41 cameras we track take it without an adapter. It is discontinued, so new stock may be limited.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits wildlife and sport as well as travel. It is a weaker pick for low light without a tripod and travelling light.
New, it sells for $2,499 in the United States (Camera Wholesalers). It launched at $1,089.
Worth comparing it with the Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 and Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR.
