SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 overview
The Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 is a 150–600mm f/5–6.3 zoom for full-frame cameras on Canon EF / EF-S, Nikon F and Sony A-mount, announced by Tamron in September 2016. 42 cameras we track take it without an adapter. It is discontinued, so new stock may be limited.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits wildlife and sport as well as travel. It is a weaker pick for low light without a tripod and travelling light.
New, it sells for $1,999 in the United States (Camera Wholesalers); used and refurbished copies start at $512.21. It launched at $1,399.
Worth comparing it with the Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary and Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR.
