AF 18mm F2.8 FE overview
The Samyang AF 18mm F2.8 FE is an 18mm f/2.8 prime for full-frame cameras on Sony E-mount, announced by Samyang in August 2019. 39 cameras we track take it without an adapter.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits landscapes and interiors as well as travel. It is a weaker pick for rain and dust as well as close-ups.
No store we track in Europe lists it today. It is listed in the United States and Australia. It launched at €399.
Worth comparing it with the Zeiss Batis 2.8/18, Viltrox AF 20mm F2.8 Air and Sigma 17mm F4 DG DN | Contemporary.
