35mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art overview
The Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art is a 35mm f/1.4 prime for full-frame cameras on Canon EF / EF-S, Nikon F, Pentax K, Sony A-mount, Sony E-mount and L-Mount, announced by Sigma in September 2012. 112 cameras we track take it without an adapter. It is discontinued, so new stock may be limited.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits low light. It is a weaker pick for rain and dust.
New, it sells for £609 to £699 at the 2 stores we track in the United Kingdom that have it in stock; used and refurbished copies start at £260.80. Over the last 90 days it has usually cost £349 to £699 new.
Worth comparing it with the Sony Distagon T* FE 35mm F1.4 ZA, Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM and Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G ED.
