Osmo Action 6 overview
The DJI Osmo Action 6 is a 38 MP 1/1.1-inch action camera with a built-in lens, announced by DJI in November 2025.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits travel and everyday carry, bad weather, and water and adventure. It is a weaker pick for paid jobs that need a backup card and eye-level shooting in bright sun.
New, it sells for £329.60 in the United Kingdom (eBay.co.uk); used and refurbished copies start at £305.80.
Worth comparing it with the GoPro HERO13 Black, Insta360 Ace Pro 2 and DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro.

Low light & noise
1.7 µm pixels
38 MP on a 1/1.1" sensor, ISO up to 25,600
Bigger pixels gather more light each, so they tend to show less noise at high ISO, but sensor design matters as much. For real noise at ISO 6400, these sites measure it:
- Photons to Photos: dynamic range vs ISO ↗Photographic dynamic range measured at every ISO, bodies on one chart
- Photons to Photos: noise vs ISO ↗Read noise at every ISO from lab tests: lower is cleaner in the shadows
- DPReview studio scene ↗The same scene shot by each camera at the ISO you pick, side by side
