OM-5 Mark II overview
The OM System OM-5 Mark II is a 20.4 MP Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera for Micro Four Thirds, announced by OM System in June 2025.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits vlogging and selfies, travel and everyday carry, and bad weather. It is a weaker pick for all-day shooting on one battery, paid jobs that need a backup card and monitoring sound while you film.
No store we track in Singapore lists it today. It is listed in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.
Worth comparing it with the Fujifilm X-S20, Fujifilm X-T50 and Sony α6700.

Low light & noise
3.3 µm pixels
20.4 MP on a micro four thirds sensor, ISO up to 25,600
Bigger pixels gather more light each, so they tend to show less noise at high ISO, but sensor design matters as much. For real noise at ISO 6400, these sites measure it:
- Photons to Photos: dynamic range vs ISO ↗Photographic dynamic range measured at every ISO, bodies on one chart
- Photons to Photos: noise vs ISO ↗Read noise at every ISO from lab tests: lower is cleaner in the shadows
