SL (Typ 601) overview

The Leica SL (Typ 601) is a 24 MP full-frame mirrorless camera for L-Mount, announced by Leica in October 2015. It has been followed by the Leica SL2.

Going by its spec sheet, it suits low light and bad weather. It is a weaker pick for slow handheld shots with unstabilised lenses.

No store we track in Singapore lists it today. It is listed in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe.

Worth comparing it with the Leica SL2, Panasonic Lumix S1 and Sony α7 III.
