14mm F2.8 ED AS IF UMC overview

The Samyang 14mm F2.8 ED AS IF UMC is a 14mm f/2.8 prime for full-frame cameras on Canon EF / EF-S, Nikon F, Pentax K, Sony A-mount, Canon EF-M, Fujifilm X, Sony E-mount and Micro Four Thirds, announced by Samyang in February 2010. 159 cameras we track take it without an adapter.

Going by its spec sheet, it suits landscapes and interiors. It is a weaker pick for rain and dust as well as fast-moving subjects.

New, it sells for $324.95 in the United States (Camera Wholesalers); used and refurbished copies start at $174.99.

Worth comparing it with the Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D, Laowa 15mm f/4 Wide Angle Macro and Laowa 15mm f/2 Zero-D.
