15mm f/4 Wide Angle Macro overview
The Laowa 15mm f/4 Wide Angle Macro is a 15mm f/4 prime for full-frame cameras on Canon EF / EF-S, Nikon F, Sony A-mount, Sony E-mount, Pentax K and L-Mount, announced by Laowa in June 2015. 112 cameras we track take it without an adapter.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits landscapes and interiors as well as macro. It is a weaker pick for rain and dust, low light without a tripod, and fast-moving subjects.
New, it sells for $499 in the United States (Dodd Camera). It launched at $479.
Worth comparing it with the Laowa 14mm f/4 FF RL Zero-D and Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift.
