The DJI Mavic 3 Pro is a 20 MP Four Thirds camera drone with a built-in lens, announced by DJI in April 2023. It has been followed by the DJI Mavic 4 Pro; both are still sold.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits flying near trees and buildings, long flights, colour grading, and dusk and sunrise. It is a weaker pick for flying without registering.

Things to know
- 20 MP Four Thirds CMOS camera.
- Video up to 5.1K (4K up to 120p), 10-bit.
- Up to 43 minutes a battery; 15 km video range (FCC, the maker's figure); omnidirectional obstacle sensing.
- 958 g take-off weight: 250 g or more, a weight at which many countries ask you to register (check yours).
- Replaced by the Mavic 4 Pro (2025); both are still sold.
- No used body-only listings at the stores we track in Australia today: check eBay and the Used filter.
