HERO13 Black overview
The GoPro HERO13 Black is a 27.1 MP 1/1.9-inch action camera with a built-in lens, announced by GoPro in September 2024.
Going by its spec sheet, it suits travel and everyday carry, video, bad weather, and water and adventure. It is a weaker pick for paid jobs that need a backup card and eye-level shooting in bright sun.
New, it sells for $429 to $649.99 at the 4 stores we track in the United States that have it in stock. It launched at $399.99.
Worth comparing it with the GoPro HERO12 Black, DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro and Insta360 Ace Pro 2.

Low light & noise
1.2 µm pixels
27.1 MP on a 1/1.9" sensor
Bigger pixels gather more light each, so they tend to show less noise at high ISO, but sensor design matters as much. For real noise at ISO 6400, these sites measure it:
